National Seafood Industry Program 2010

The Fisheries Research and Development Corporation National Seafood Industry Leadership Program (NSILP) 2010 commences on the 30th March 2010 in Hobart, with the participant selection process commencing in February 2010.  More….

MISA Future Directions Workshop

Adelaide to host the World Aquaculture Conference

Adelaide is set to host the world’s biggest aquaculture conference in 2014. The World Aquaculture Symposium is held every four years and will attract more than 3000 delegates and 200 exhibitors. The four-day event is expected to generate more than $11.5 million for the state, including benefits to regional tourism. South Australia is already well respected internationally for its expertise in aquaculture, research and management, and hosting this conference will be a significant boost to the industry’s global profile and to local producers. The state’s $262 million aquaculture industry already produces a third of Australia’s farmed seafood.
