Timely seafood industry updates...direct to your mobile
Would you like to be kept up to date with news from the seafood industry whether you're on a boat, stacking baskets, grading oysters or packing for market?
A MISA project, funded by Australian Seafood CRC, is looking at new and innovative ways to inform the seafood community about the latest research results.
This pilot project focuses on the oyster industry, with a view to extend to the wider seafood community if the project proves successful.
The project is producing six monthly news video 'Seafood Industry News' that can be viewed on a mobile phone, via a web link.
A text version sent via Short Message Service (SMS) is also available for participants whose phones do not connect to the internet.
'Seafood Industry News' provides current seafood research, development and extension headlines, with full articles available on the Australian Seafood CRC website.
The project started in February 2010.
