Facilities
The MISA partners have collectively spent $25.8 million on marine science capability including infrastructure and staff in the five years to 2009, with the State Government contributing $13.7 million. This additional capability has led to increased funding for targeted research.
Activities are focused at MISA’s two main sites – the South Australian Aquatic Sciences Centre (SAASC) at West Beach in the metropolitan area of Adelaide and the Lincoln Marine Science Centre (LMSC) at Port Lincoln on SA’s Eyre Peninsula.
