Experience and qualifications:
Sunil completed his PhD degree in Resource Management and Environmental Science from the Fenner School of Environment and Society at the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia in January 2006. His PhD research addressed multi-objective land use allocation problems through applying GIS based land use modelling and optimisation techniques. In addition, he has a Masters degree in Forestry from George-August University, Goettingen (Germany) and a Masters degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
Sunil had a decade of experience on natural resource management and planning in Nepal.
