Experience and qualifications:
Tom graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Technology (Aquaculture) and is a recent Honours graduate from the Adelaide University in the area of microbiology. Since he joined SARDI Food Safety Research he has worked on a variety of projects including species such as southern bluefin tuna, yellowtail kingfish, scallops and oysters. His work interests include potentially pathogenic marine vibrios, product quality, molecular microbiology and biotoxins.
